Support for the moments that changed everything
Loss reshapes you in ways you never asked for. Whether you're grieving a person, a relationship, or the life you thought you'd have, I'm here to help you hold the weight of it with compassion. Together, we'll honour what has changed and explore what healing can look like for you.

“You are not alone. You are seen. I am with you. You are not alone.”
— Shonda Rhimes

My name is Rachel Hart VanDorsselaer...
and I am the heart behind Therapy With Hart. I would love to get to know you better. I believe that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy, and I can be a listening ear as well as helping to arm you with tools and resources to move towards your goals.
Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, depression, struggling with a big decision, life transition, or simply feeling stuck, I will tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. I am trauma informed and have training in suicide intervention (ASIST), which enhances my ability to support clients in times of crisis with care and confidence.

From there, we work collaboratively toward the change and goals that matter most to you.
While our work together is rooted in deep listening and a supportive relationship, I also draw on tools from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including:
